The river views are nice, and the rooms were big and clean. But there was a really strong mould smell in the foyer, lifts, and corridors. The corridor ceilings were stained and mouldy, with drops of water visible. Maybe it would be better in the dry season. Hot water was barely lukewarm, and I couldn't get the free Wi-Fi to connect. It wasn't awful, but I've stayed in better places for a lot less.

You can enjoy a great view while eating from the lunch buffet. There's plenty of variety, from rice with lots of toppings and curry to somtum, sushi, noodles, and desserts. Everything was delicious and juicy.

The breakfast was delicious, and the room is huge for what you pay. The place sits by the Pasak river across from Wat Panan Cheng, with boats crossing for just 5-10 Bath. The downside is the parking area, which is small and uncovered.

There wasn't a River View from my room, and check-in was a mess, with the receptionist and manager making several mistakes with my reservation. The room was dirty, mouldy, dated, and badly in need of maintenance, an update, and a better cleaning crew. The bathroom was especially mouldy. When I tried the shower, its broken head sprayed everywhere. A staff member took over an hour to bring one from the next room, and because the handle angle was different, the water came out horizontally and soaked the floor just as much.

The rooms are huge, and there are some good views and a dining room. It must have been grand in its heyday, but now it feels a bit run down, with old furniture and floors. The showers weren't great, though I've had worse.
