Baan Khun Ya Ayutthaya

The area is quiet but puts you near the night market, and there’s a washing machine for doing your own laundry. My room was large and the air conditioning worked well. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. I'd stay here again.

The staff were wonderful and provided great service, always happy to suggest places to visit. Scooters and bicycles are available to rent on site, too. A really nice place.

The location was good, but I wouldn't recommend staying here. The heater was broken, so we had no hot water, and our neighbours' room was without it too. You can hear every footstep and conversations from next door. The scooter we rented for 300 baht was in poor shape: air kept leaking from the back wheel until it was unusable, we slipped once and couldn't keep driving, and the left indicator worked only sometimes. They knew about these issues and told us to pump up the tire. The replacement scooter had no working brake light, which was just as dangerous.

We spent two nights here and had a great time. It's a clean, quiet place with a lovely outdoor area where you can sit with a cold drink, and there were a couple of very relaxed cats wandering around. The accommodation is tucked down an alley off the Main Street, as the last photo shows. Highly recommended. Thank you.
