We only stayed one night, but it was perfect. The place has a laid-back feel, with a terrace where you can hang out on hammocks or sofas. Mary was lovely and helpful, and explained everything we needed to know. The rooms were nice and clean. We rented bikes and were able to leave our luggage there after checkout. Simple but magic.

The whole property is behind a gated entrance, and it felt safe and secure. Downstairs there are bicycles and motorbikes for rent, plus a hair salon, laundry service, massages, and I think a weed store. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom. The shared bathrooms looked like they’d be fine even with several other guests. There are about 9 rooms, but we were the only ones there for two of our three nights, so it was very quiet at night. The common area is large and comfortable, with hammocks, chairs, and soft benches. Some of the most popular ruins are a 10-15 minute walk away.

It’s a mix of a hostel and private rooms. The owner was helpful and pointed me to good places for breakfast, lunch, and shopping. She even called my bus company to make sure the bus was coming.

Mary was always trying to give us useful directions and ideas for things to do. The staff were so kind and helpful, and everything was amazing. Just a heads up, beds in Thailand are stiffer than in the US, though that’s true anywhere.

There’s a spacious covered terrace beside the kitchenette and shared bathrooms, a nice spot to unwind in the afternoon or evening. The place has a pleasant atmosphere, and our room was clean, nice, and smelled fresh. It’s in a quiet location, and the landlady was friendly and happy to help with planning a trip or finding a good meal. I definitely recommend it.
