Lots of local food nearby, including a popular congee place and a smoothie spot that got the sweetness just right. I stayed during low season and really enjoyed it. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were soft, and the shower had strong hot water. Quiet, comfortable, and convenient. I’d stay again!

The hotel was in a great spot, about two minutes from the center, and the rooms were very good for the price. I booked for myself and my two daughters for the evening of 17 April. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and informative. We got three double rooms, all a good size with air conditioning and a good-sized fridge. Each was clean and well presented. I had to leave a cash deposit for each room, which was fine. I’d highly recommend this hotel.

The room’s AC blows straight onto your face while you sleep. We woke with sore throats after cold air blasted us all night, and in Thailand’s heat you need the AC to sleep. One night, the key card that powers the electricity and AC stopped working at midnight, waking us when the AC shut off. We had to get a new card from the front desk at 12:30 a.m. Getting only 12:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. for sleep is why I can’t give this hotel more than 2 stars. The rooms on our third-floor corridor were being cleaned as early as 7 a.m. every morning, all three nights, even though they say cleaning is from 9 to 11:30 a.m. You can hear everything from the hallway in your room. The housekeepers played music and took phone calls at 7 a.m., and several times it sounded like they had young children with them. If you can’t sleep past 7, what’s the point of a hotel?

Coffee was freely available at reception, and the room was huge with enough space for my bike. But the shower drain smelled of raw sewage, which was nauseating, especially when I was trying to brush my teeth. I also couldn’t find the 500 baht deposit requirement online, and they don’t take credit cards, so I had to walk all the way to an ATM. All rather mediocre.
