The Moonlight Resort

The resort owner kindly lent me a small bike the next day. The place was clean and quiet, and reasonably priced, I think, but I wouldn't choose it alone. For the two days I was there, I didn't see a single other guest. I like peace and quiet, but that was too much. On my first night I went out looking for food and couldn't find anywhere. I was told the beach was a 15 minute walk, but it took more than twice that. It wasn't so bad, except my feet were sore and raw.

We booked through "agoda" and stayed here on 28/4/19. The place was beautiful and clean, and overall okay for the price of 670 Thaibath. There were a few issues. The Wi-Fi was slow and hard to connect to, though that was okay for us since our phones had 4g. The water came out in a small drip. In room 105, the air conditioning wasn't cold even at 23 degrees, and the room still felt warm.

The staff charged me 650/day. At check-in, the owner was sitting by reception, gave me a long face, and asked the receptionist where I was from. Everything else was good, though the neighbors were very noisy when they went out.

A nice, family-like resort for local guests and easygoing foreigners. The rooms have air conditioning and no cloth furniture, plus a small shower room with a toilet. The beach and plenty of small local restaurants are 200m away. Euro-Curry, for people who like German food, is also nearby, about 12min by car.
