Wild nature surrounds the resort, with plenty of birds to watch. They were there with us in the morning as we woke up. The location is ideal for trekking, waterfalls, and visiting Thailand's highest peak. We slept in the old authentic house and had a magnificent view of the garden, just wonderful. The bungalows are charming too, in a beautifully flowered park. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The owner and staff were attentive, and the pork with peanuts deserves a special mention.

The staff were very nice and could make vegan food for us at dinner. The location near Doi Inthanon is great. The room is basic but fine, and the shower is simple, though the hot water and pressure were good. If you come in the cold season, be aware there’s no heating in the room. You’ll need to rely on blankets and jackets, even indoors.

The noise through the night made it impossible to sleep. They hold an outdoor concert on several nights, and it’s so loud and awful that you can’t get any rest. The neighboring properties must surely be calling the authorities too. This place shows no consideration or respect for its guests or anyone nearby. The noise is horrible. Never, ever come here!

Touch Star stands out here for its location, service, and room choices, including different bed sizes. The park bungalows mostly offer only large beds, and their rooms weren't clean when I saw them, perhaps because local villagers manage them. The service there also wasn't good. It doesn't measure up to a serious private business like Touch Star.

There are broad grassy areas for camping and outdoor activities, and the riverside setting is a great spot. The site has a shop, and the shower blocks are very good.
