That bathroom smell was the worst part of my stay. It was foul all day and got especially bad after showering. They had an air freshener in there, but it barely helped, and I could still taste the smell. There were ants on the bed, too. The room lighting was so dim I couldn’t read without straining my eyes, and the air conditioner blew straight onto the bed. There was no proper bedding, just a throw that looked dirty when you checked it closely, so I felt cold. The setting is beautiful, with stunning views in the morning and evening, a huge, fairly clean pool, and a restaurant where the food seemed fresh. The place looked a little abandoned, though the restaurant staff member was nice and had a lovely smile. Getting around was a real problem. It’s remote, beside a highway divided by a median, so taxis have a hard time picking up or dropping off. At some times of day I couldn’t get any Grab, Bolt, or Indrive driver, and once walked 30 minutes along the highway from 7/11. It’s also far from the airport. CPS travel can arrange a shared van, but their location is far away and getting there already costs quite a bit. Unless you have your own vehicle, which most visitors probably don’t, this location near Cheow Lan lake may be one of the worst choices.

The rooms are large but odd, and you only get a small blanket. Want another one? They charge 100 bath. The view is lovely, and the pool is nice. There’s no breakfast or dinner place at the hotel, so you have to go to the 7/11, about 2 km away. A nice restaurant is 3 km away in the other direction from Phuket. For what you get, I think it should cost $15 a night at most. The quality doesn’t match the price.

Our flight into Surat Thani was delayed, so we couldn’t arrive before check-in closed. The hotel’s email said to contact them about checking in late, but they never answered our WhatsApp messages, emails, or calls. We had to find another hotel at the last minute. This was last week, and we still haven’t heard from them. I thought they might offer a partial refund or something.

We had such a fun stay, and the place turned out much nicer than we expected. It’s peaceful, away from noise, with a lovely mountain getaway feel. The staff and service were excellent. There’s a restaurant, taxi service, and laundry, basically everything you might need, and the prices are affordable. Would love to come back 🥰🥰🩷

I live in Koh tao and had four solo holiday days, though the rain limited my options. I ended up spending them at this beautiful hotel, enjoying the company and the lovely surroundings. Everything was clean and spacious, with a huge pool and a beautiful park. Since I like fishing, they offered me their little lake beside the hotel. The staff were super kind, and I can’t wait to return.
