The course was in very good shape from tee to green, and the greens were neither too quick nor too slow. The price is VERY cheap. My only gripe is that the layout feels a bit dull, with those really long straight holes.

The price we were quoted by phone was 1,400 THB each under the promotion, including my two guests. I’d explained that I had a 2-year Thai driver's license and that the others were visiting from out of town. But after we arrived as scheduled, they said it would be 3,750 THB per person. That was a big change and left us in an awkward spot. Any promotion restrictions should be made clear when booking. The inconsistent pricing and poor communication made for a very disappointing experience.

The restaurant was very good, and the staff were friendly. Gassan Panorama has a nice layout, though the front and back nines are similar, and there’s a lot of water, so accuracy matters. The greens were a little slow, with some showing deterioration. We had a noon tee time but could only pay at 11:45, which wasn’t practical. My debit or credit card wouldn’t work, so I had to pay cash.

There are large bunkers around the greens, often in front or to either side, and the greens themselves are very big. Water is the main challenge, with hazards along either side of the fairways and between tee grounds, fairways, and greens. Some fairway areas were being repaired, but the course was in good enough condition overall and enjoyable to play. It used to be Gassan Marina, closed for many years, and has now reopened under a new name.
