Livotel Express Hotel Bang Kruai

For the price, the hotel is okay. The bed sheets were clean, the furniture was new, and there was a small balcony, a TV, and air conditioning. The AC is a bit old but still works. I cleaned the mould in the bathroom myself, though, and the bathroom could use better cleaning.

The staff were nice and available whenever needed. Rooms are comfortable enough, with air conditioning and some water in the fridge. Prices seem reasonable, for instance, a triple room is around 900 baht per night, and there are different room options at different prices. The hotel is a few kilometres from the city center, so you’ll need a taxi, motorbike, or Bolt driver. Cleaning could have been better. There was a used cotton bud under the bed when I arrived, the blankets were stained, and the bathroom had mould and webs.

The service was decent, but the place felt kind of like a scam. The room looked nothing like the pictures, and it was old, with products that seemed cheap or far too old. I wouldn’t call this a three-star hotel. The entrance lobby and reception look fancy, but once you reach your floor, you can see that the polish only extends to the reception.

We booked for three and checked in around 5 pm. Bring 500 baht in cash for the deposit. The room was unpleasant from the start, with the window wide open toward the road and power grid. Both the room and bathroom floors felt oily, there was hair on the bathroom wall, and mould by the sink. Cobwebs and daddy long legs spiders beside the shower made it seem like the place hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The fridge was beside the bed, and its heat and noise made it uncomfortable to sleep. The mattress and sheets looked clean, but they weren’t, I woke up with bed bug bites on my legs. The location was also far from both the city center and the airport. I’d spend a little more for somewhere more comfortable.
