Eazy Motel Bangna

We stayed three nights and the room was never entered: no cleaning, towel changes, bin emptying, or general service. The blanket was tiny and flimsy, leaving our legs exposed, and there was no kettle or coffee or tea. A bird outside squawked loudly from 3am. The ceiling mirrors also made me wonder what kind of place this was. At check-in, the woman insisted on a 3% extra charge for using the Mastercard I had booked with, or cash with no added fee. None of the staff spoke English. The room key required a 100 baht deposit, and two extra pillows cost another 100 baht, not a deposit.

This is a low-cost, convenient Thai-style motel, handy for business travelers who just need a simple stop with parking. It's on the outskirts of Bangkok, with highways and little traffic on the way there. The city center is about 30 minutes away.

It was okay for sleeping and showering, but don't hand money to the security guard. I gave him 300 baht for my key deposit, and he took 200 baht. The woman at the desk said he had only handed her 100. I believed her.

The staff seemed to push guests into the 995 baht room to fill it first, even when the cheaper 895 baht room was available. I called before checking in and was told both room prices were available. When I arrived, they said only the 995 baht room by the parking lot was open. After I went in, they said it was already full, even though there were no cars parked there. It felt like they had put a box there to trap customers into taking the more expensive room. Poor service and taking advantage of customers.
