The staff were so friendly, and when my boyfriend needed food without MSG or soy because of allergies, they made it just right for him. We also ate at the restaurant several times during the day and even brought friends for lunch. Our room was spotless and everything worked perfectly. We stayed a few nights, loved the place, and I’d stay again.

My bad experience may help anyone considering a monthly or yearly stay, especially if you’re not Thai. Check the contract carefully. I stayed only 10 days, but was charged a 1,000 THB cleaning fee for the month. Nobody mentioned it at check-in, though it was written in the contract. I admit I didn’t read it closely, so I accepted that I had to pay. The month’s total came to over 9,000 THB, which made me really angry, though there was nothing I could do. Electricity is 10 THB per unit too. I used the air conditioning only in the evenings for 10 days and the bill was 1,200 THB. If you stay all 30 days, it could be over 3,000 THB, or you could just avoid using the air conditioner.

Pairwa is awesome! Good prices, and next door at vintage cafe there’s good food, drinks, and company. A great place to stay, highly recommend.
