137 Pillars Suites & Residences Hotel

We kept finding reasons to relax in the suite, even though Bangkok has plenty to see and do. It was apartment-sized and had everything we needed, so I stocked the fridge with snacks and made a few good meals there. The pool was great, and so were the restaurant and breakfast. I’d planned to stay four days, but didn’t want to leave. It’s good value and doesn’t feel pretentious. The shuttle to EM Quartier mall and the BTS runs every half hour. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

We often made use of the pool on the 27th floor, where there were always plenty of loungers and fresh towels. The views were spectacular any time of day, and we had lots of delicious drinks at the pool bar. Nearby, there are restaurants, Starbucks, 7-Eleven, a gelateria, and plenty more within an easy walk. Our family of three spent 12 days in an Executive Two Bedroom Residence and felt very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, the washer-dryer was modern, both bathrooms were nicely appointed, and the beds were very comfortable. The air conditioning was quiet, and the “Happy Anniversary” balloon was a lovely welcome. We used Grab taxis and scooters often, and the hotel shuttle was always punctual. The whole team deserves a big compliment.

The neighborhood is nice, and the mall transfer was useful, though the major sights are far away. The hotel has potential, but I can’t recommend it based on our stay. At check-in, the room was filthy. The couch had stains, the bed felt very itchy, and the washing machine was dirty from previous guests. The hotel handled the bed issue nicely. The room also seemed dated, the shower had problems and mold, and the conditioner barely worked. At checkout, the bell boys’ attitude was poor, and the receptionist didn’t ask how things had gone.

The gym was well equipped, and the jacuzzi and pool were among the best I’ve experienced. Everything felt luxurious, well cared for, and set up for relaxing. I stayed at 137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok for my birthday, and the staff made a real effort to make it feel special from the moment I arrived. They carried the celebration through at the restaurant with thoughtful touches. Their attention and genuine hospitality made the stay memorable. It was fantastic, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end stay in Bangkok.
