1989 Hostel & Cafe Ratchada

We only tried the cafe, not the hostel, and ended up loving it. The WiFi was fast, the food was good, and the coffee was too. We had dinner and breakfast there. For dinner, my husband got waffles with ice cream, while I had stir-fried chicken with basil and a fried egg. Both were delicious, and the Thai iced tea frappe was nice without being too sweet. At breakfast, I chose the American-style meal and he had the waffles set. Our mocha and iced latte were both really good. The staff are very sweet, and we also used the laundry service. It was quick and reasonably priced.

A small, pleasant shop near the main road. I can't comment on the hostel, but the food is simple and full of flavor. The coffee and Thai tea were just okay, though the food is worth trying. I'd go for the chicken and rice or the small breakfast set. The woman working there was incredibly sweet and friendly. 09/2023

There isn't any drinking water or a water boiler, so bring your own. They don't clean the room every day either. On the plus side, the air conditioner is strong, and the location is pretty good, near Emsphere and very close to seven eleven. There are lots of massage services around.

The rooms and bathrooms were super clean, the staff were really nice, and the cafe downstairs makes great coffee. Breakfast is free and comes with eggs and toast. The proper barista coffees are half price in the morning, so paying that for coffee seems fair to me. Complaints about not getting coffee included with breakfast are a bit silly.
