I stayed five nights and this was a perfect budget hotel for me. The room smelled nice and the bathroom was super clean. There's a shared fridge and free hot and cold water, so I was happy I could make instant noodles whenever I wanted. The staff member was very kind, friendly, and helpful during my stay. I liked the many plants around the hotel, even if they're fake, and it's not far from anywhere, especially Khaosan, which is walkable. Breakfast was the same every day apart from the fruit, so I barely ate it. They gave me a "broken" towel that wasn't usable anymore. Still, the stay was way great, and I'd recommend it.

The so-called “Family Room” at 4J Lodge was nothing like we expected. It had no natural light at all and felt like a prison cell, while the bathroom was a dark, narrow corridor that was uncomfortable to use. We paid €200 for four nights, but left after just one because we couldn't feel comfortable in the room. We asked for a refund for the remaining three nights and the hotel has ignored our messages. You can get much better hotels in Bangkok for that price. Avoid this place ABSOLUTELY. Experience, avoid at all costs!

We had a cramped dorm with friends, and the toilet and bathroom were horrible, really left a lot to be desired. The staff were very friendly and helpful, though, and it's near the main drag.
