Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen (Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen) is within walking distance, though the hotel itself is in a quiet area without much tourism. The room was roomy, and there’s a shared fridge downstairs. The bed was much too hard for me, and with the AC on, the very thin blanket left me feeling cold.

It’s a decent little hotel in a really local-feeling neighborhood. 7-Eleven is a few minutes away on foot, and the BTS takes a little longer to reach. I only stayed one night and had a good experience. There was a hiccup at check-in because they asked for a 400 baht deposit for the room key, which hadn’t been mentioned when I booked. I had no cash with me, but they let me check in anyway and were very kind about it.

The bedding was atrocious, and nobody cleaned the room or replaced the toilet paper during my four days there. I was first put in the wrong room, then moved after I complained. The shower never had any hot water. They said they’d fix it, but nothing changed over those four days. When I asked for a refund, they refused. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

It’s hard to find, and the walk from Bang Wa BTS station is very long.
