Amanta Hotel & Residence Ratchada

The staff really made the stay, always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcome. Amanda Hotel and Residences Rachata also had excellent amenities, and the clean, modern, well-maintained room had everything I needed to relax. A very pleasant visit, and I'd recommend it for its facilities and service.

The hotel's location was handy, right by the MRT and near malls, restaurants, and a night market. We stayed five nights in a grand suite, and the two bedrooms were well separated, giving us good privacy. The staff were very friendly.

Breakfast had a good spread, with a live egg station for hard-boiled, scrambled, omelette, sunny-side-up, and Thai-style eggs, plus noodle soup where you choose the noodles and toppings. The main dishes change daily. Staff were lovely and friendly, and the pool was clean. The gym is well equipped. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable king bed, air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom, and a smart washer-dryer. The bathroom has a shower area, tub, and Japanese-style toilet. The floor isn't carpeted, and there are lots of switches for different lights and zones, so it takes a bit of getting used to.

Breakfast runs from 0630-1030. Inside, there's salad, cut fruit, yogurt, fresh juice, coffee, and bread with a toaster, along with hot dishes that change daily. Some days there are vegetarian choices among the hot food, but on others rice may be the only suitable option. Outside, they prepare noodle soup and eggs to order, including omelettes any way you like. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The ground-floor pool behind the restaurant is 1.2m deep and open until 2100h. The suite was spacious and quiet, with clean sheets and a comfortable bed. Its curtains block light well, and the balcony can work as an indoor or outdoor sitting area. There's a table and chairs, a comfy couch, and a smart TV with good cable reception. The living room and bedroom each have their own air conditioner and remote. The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, cups, dishes, glasses, plenty of cupboards and drawers, a kettle, an electric furnace with extractor hood, and an oven-microwave combo. There's also a separate room with the boiler and a washing machine, plus space to iron clothes. The bathroom setup is handy for two people getting ready at once. Outside it, there's a sink with hot and cold water and plenty of room for belongings, as well as more closet and drawer space in the bedroom. The shower cubicle has a glass door and raised stone edges that keep water contained. You can adjust the rain shower and hand shower's angle and height, which is useful if you don't want to wet your hair. The toilet has a washlet that opens when it detects you, flushes automatically, rinses front and rear as selected, and can air-dry. There's also a large bath separate from the shower.
