Amarin Inn

We arrived late for check-in because of transport problems, but they’d kept the room for us and still let us check in. Daman and his wife gave us a warm welcome and even offered us their biggest room. It was really clean, and the bed was comfortable, so we got a good night’s rest. They let us leave our luggage after check-out and even offered us a shower, which was amazing. Thanks again 🥰

We slept really well. The hotel was quiet at night, the air conditioning worked great, and the room was clean. It was a nice double room tucked down an alley away from the noise, close to Khao San Road and lots of restaurants and bars. Very good value for money. The staff were super friendly and great with recommendations and laundry. I’d highly recommend it.

The owners made the stay especially easy. They were warm, happy to chat, and willing to hear any questions or requests. The bed was comfortable, the shower heated up quickly, and the A/C ran around the clock. Khao San Road is about a 10-minute walk away, and the Grand Palace about 20 minutes. They also do laundry for 50 baht per kilo. I’m not sure how that price compares, but it saved us looking for somewhere else. I had no problems here and would definitely recommend it.

The location was great, but I’d avoid staying here. We arrived from the street for an early check-in and were charged for a full night at 7 a.m. The room they gave us had a clogged toilet. Then, while we were asleep, they booked the room to someone else and made us leave. The service was awful and no one helped. And that toilet? Really?
