Baan hostel

The noise is the big problem here. Our room faced the main street and there’s no sound insulation at all, so I went out to buy earplugs for the next few nights. It felt like trying to sleep inside a bus engine. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had what the description promised, including air conditioning and a private bathroom for four people. Staff weren’t on site, but they were very kind and easy to reach through WhatsApp and other usual channels. Given the price, we hadn’t expected much, but with some work on the noise this could be a much nicer place.

The common areas felt a little small, but I had an incredible time staying here. The hostel was a comfortable base for my travels, with spacious rooms and lockers for keeping my things safe. It’s right in the heart of Old town Phucket, close to restaurants, bars, and attractions, and I could walk to everything I wanted to see and do. The facilities were clean and well looked after, and all the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Paulik. I highly recommend Baan Baan hostel in Phucket if you want a budget-friendly, comfortable place in the city.

The price is really low, and the room upstairs has a rooftop. It was clean and had AC. The man in charge was friendly and spoke with a smile.

For what it costs, this is a decent place. The staff were very helpful.
