Baan Noppadol

The rooms are lovely, the place is well kept, and there’s a market nearby. I’d book again. One thing to know is parking: it’s behind the hotel and accessed via Muban Thung Setthi 6 Alley. That isn’t obvious unless you first park on the street out front, go to reception, and ask. The website doesn’t make it clear either. You also need to pay a 1000 baht deposit in cash.

I had to cancel my Agoda booking because my plans changed, but was told I wouldn’t get a refund, even though I said I planned to rebook for a few days later. They also said cancelling could mean a hotel charge, but didn’t tell me how much. Now I’m afraid to cancel in case they charge me extra, so I’m left paying for two or three nights when I won’t even be there. Really disappointing. One star is the lowest rating I can give, and I’d give none if I could. I expected more from this hotel, since I’ve always enjoyed my time in Thailand.

The hotel is reasonably priced. There isn’t much within a short walk, though a moderate walk gets you more choices.

The rooms are spacious, new, and nicely decorated, and the receptionist was great. The hotel is decent, though the price feels a bit high for the location without the promotion. With the discount, it’s okay. I’m not sure whether there’s parking, since we parked in front of the hotel. There’s no elevator or hair dryer.
