The room was spacious and nicely laid out, and the breakfast buffet was tasty enough. The male reception staff were more attentive, but front desk service overall lacked engagement and seemed poorly trained. Management should invest in training or get robots. The pool looked great at night, though it was an odd fit beside a bar. By day it wasn’t full, and there was debris in the water and rubbish left around from the night before. Disgusting. The gym listing was misleading too, with just two basic treadmills. I also couldn’t get Netflix to work because of an incompatible operating system. It took me a couple of days to figure that out, and staff did try to help.

The room was spacious and the decor was nice. It’s in a wealthier part of Bangkok, though farther from the malls and other places I usually want to visit.

It worked well as a base for exploring Bangkok, and after some difficulty explaining ourselves with gestures, we were moved to a really nice room. The first room we got smelled strongly of smoke, and communication with the staff was hard because of the language barrier. Breakfast was fine, but nothing special. The pool belongs to the lovely rooftop bar, though it was so dirty while we were there that we didn't use it.
