Benjarong Hotel Bangkok

The free drink corner was a lovely extra, with coffee, tea, cookies, and a comfortable place to sit. They also have karaoke and a bar, plus a gym and laundry room downstairs in the basement. Breakfast was wonderful, and we really liked the hotel's location and facilities. Our room was comfortable and spotless. We arrived late, and the staff explained that we could park in a safe alternative spot. Ms. Fah, the manager, was so sincere and helpful. She even arranged a golf cart to bring us back, although it wasn't far. We felt very well looked after by her and the rest of the team. You can also ask for a golf cart ride to the nearby 7-Eleven. I liked the service so much, especially from Khun Fah, that I told my friends about the hotel and booked another stay for 23 December 2025.

Getting into central Bangkok from here isn't very convenient. The room itself was okay, but the shower was faulty. A technician came and said to take out the filter so the water would drain, but that didn't solve it. Quite a few things were missing from the room, which felt closer to a two-star setup. Breakfast was acceptable, though the choices were limited. I've stayed at plenty of four-star hotels, and this didn't feel like one.

The location is convenient, but the sewer smell in the room made the stay very uncomfortable. It came from the bathroom drain, and the hotel's attempt to stop it with a drain cover meant the water wouldn't drain properly. I had to take the cover off whenever I used the bathroom, and covering the drain didn't get rid of the odor anyway. They offered to move me, but the new room had the same strong smell. This seriously affected my comfort during the stay. The drainage problem needs to be properly fixed, so I can't recommend staying here until it is.

Tawanchai, the luggage staff member, was especially welcoming and greeted guests so warmly. The rooms are fairly clean. On my first visit, Building 2 had a slightly odd smell and its diffuser was a little too strong, but the room on my second stay was clean and comfortable. The location worked well for me, around a 10-15 minute drive from a big shopping mall and Union Mall. Traffic outside can get a bit congested, though it was manageable. Reception can arrange a shuttle to the nearby 7/11, and Building 2 has a snack corner and free coffee all day and night. I was happy with my stay and will come back on my next Bangkok trip.
