Breezewood Bangkok Hotel

We’ve been travelling around Thailand and neighbouring countries for a month, usually using Booking.com and its reviews to choose where to stay. For our last three nights we booked through LateRooms. I wish we hadn’t. The day before we arrived, they said we were booked for just one night. Then we were sent to a double room that was in very poor condition. Now I’m sitting on a mattress with collapsed springs. This is supposed to be their Deluxe Twin Room. The door doesn’t fit its frame, there’s bird betting on the balcony, and the shower and toilet light is so dim it could be dangerous. The TV is the size of an A4 page, and there’s no kettle. THIS IS NOT SOMEWHERE TO STAY

The location worked well for us, close to the station in Mochit, and this is an affordable, clean place to stay while travelling through the area. We were welcomed warmly, the staff were kind and polite, and the room was clean with efficient AC. I recommend it.

The second room looked as if it had been made to seem clean, but the bedding and towels appeared not to have been washed after the previous guest. The first room we were given wasn’t ready to use at all, with unmade, dirty beds. It’s a cheap stay, but the rooms are dirty, the WiFi and TV don’t work, and the shower and drains are clogged. I’d rate it even lower if I could.
