The rooftop has a nice view and the toilet area was clean. There’s a big locker, too. But the rooms are really noisy, and I kept waking up. I felt very uncomfortable as a European woman, with mostly Asian male guests staring at me and immediately asking for my Instagram. It was creepy, and this was the first hostel where I stopped talking to people. It’s an okay place if you remember it’s very cheap and only stay a couple of nights. Just don’t expect too much.

The warm, laid-back feel made it easy to recharge here. The beds were surprisingly soft for a hostel, and the common areas felt inviting, so it was easy to chat with other travelers without the place turning into a loud party hostel. It felt more like a cozy landing spot than a sterile hotel in the middle of a chaotic city. The people were the best part. The staff were genuinely kind and made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived. They were happy to help with directions to a hidden street food gem or just say hello when I got back from a long day exploring. That human connection made the stay memorable. There were a couple of small budget-place drawbacks, like possible street noise or a wait for the bathroom at busy times. Those were easy to overlook for the price and hospitality. I left feeling like I’d made friends in Bangkok, not just paid for a room. I’d give Comfy Crib Hostel a solid 4/5. If you want a place with some soul and friendly faces, it’s a fantastic choice.

I’ve already been here a month, and it’s a great hostel. The pods are spacious, with lots of storage, and the air-con runs all day. There’s a little kitchen with plenty of appliances and a dining area. Phra Khanong BTS is a short walk away, so the location is excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Aung Bwar Hlaing. His English is very good.

The receptionist was extremely nice and even carried my backpack for me. It feels secure, since you can’t enter without a key, and there’s a locker for valuables. They provided small and large towels. If you’re willing to leave a review, they offer you water, as there’s no free water on site. The beds are large, with a rolling curtain for privacy. Showers have hot water and come with shampoo and shower gel, and there’s liquid soap by the sink.

My room got lots of natural light, with the rooftop terrace right next to it. You do have to climb five levels, but it’s worth it. The neighborhood is lovely and well served, and the BTS is only a short walk away. I had a really nice stay!
