Our three-bed room had its own bathroom and was bright, roomy, and comfortable. The hostel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and there were lots of spaces to spend time with friends. It’s also a good place to meet people. Getting there from the nearest BTS looks like a straight, short walk on the map, but you have to cross at least 2 or 3 overhead bridges, with no escalators. It’s not stroller-friendly, and the stairs up to most of the rooms are steep. It can get noisy after 9pm, since party-goers head out and return in the early hours.

We’ll definitely come back. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the common area was nicely designed for eating or lounging. There was free breakfast at the adjoining cafe, plus complimentary snacks and tea or coffee in the lounge. You could also get espresso drinks and quality beer. The hostel is clean, beautiful, and new, with a range of rooms from dorm beds to family-sized rooms. Our dorm bed was good quality and private, with a side table, lamp, electrical outlet, and USB. Towels were provided, and the WiFi was excellent. It’s conveniently located on the skytrain.

The clean room was nice, and there are plenty of places to hang out around the hostel. But there’s no elevator or bellboy, so you have to carry all your bags yourself. That could be especially hard if you’re disabled or have lots of luggage, particularly if you’re put on the fifth floor.

Everything was minimal, white, and clean in my private room, which had a bathroom, air conditioner, WiFi, water, a clothes rod, and hangers. There’s an open kitchen on the second floor with tasty snacks, coffee, and tea, and lots of tables and seats for hanging out, listening to music, snacking, or working on a laptop. The other floors have couches, tables, chairs, and games. Breakfast is included each morning, western-style from the restaurant next door, where you can also get Thai food any time at fair prices. The lobby staff were always friendly, smiling, fluent in English, and helpful. The hostel’s location is prime, between Ari and Saphan Khwai BTS, maybe 15-minutes to either station. There’s a 7-11 across the street, restaurants beside it, and a mall about 10 minutes up the road with western-style fast food like KFC and Chester’s, plus a big Thai food court. Chatuchak Market is a half hour walk north. If you want to feel content every day while spending time in Bangkok, I recommend Everyday Sunday Social Hostel.

Lovely staff, a great location, and a beautiful, clean place with a comfortable bed.
