We mainly needed somewhere to sleep, and I did like it, though maybe I’m just used to ghetto places. The room felt old and kind of ghetto, but we slept fine. There’s Wi-Fi, and 7-Eleven is about a two-minute walk away. DMK airport is nearby, around 9 minutes. The bathroom only had a hose spray, with no toilet paper. I saw some tiny ants, including a few crawling on the bed. I’d left my backpack open by accident, and they got in and ate my little strawberry cake. It was easy enough to clean out. I’d bring ant or bug spray and close all your bags before sleeping. We told them we’d arrive late, and the man came to open up when we rang the bell. We paid a 300 baht cash deposit for the key. The room doorknob didn’t lock, but everything was okay when we walked to 7-Eleven and back. At checkout, a staff member checked the room, we handed back the key, and got the 300 baht back. Up to you if you stay.

For the price, I think it’s well worth it, even though the location is a bit removed from Bangkok’s fun. I’d read all the bad reviews and was skeptical, but the owner was quite nice. He even let my friends leave their bags in the room when they headed out early at night to catch a flight.
I arrived a little after 1 am, but the front door was locked and nobody came. The manager had gone home. I hadn’t made a formal booking, but I’d emailed that I would take a room and he confirmed. When my flight was delayed, I updated him by email, and he replied that the taxi driver should call number xxxxxxxxx for directions. I kept sending updates about my delays and arrival time, but he never mentioned he wouldn’t be there at night. I was stuck at 1:30 am in the middle of nowhere, with stray dogs barking all around. The next day he emailed that he couldn’t give me his phone number because I hadn’t booked through agoda. So he could email me, states his number as *xxxxxxxxx*, and still didn’t tell me he’d be gone when I arrived. This manager doesn’t care about his customers. After a night in a nearby cheap dump, I found a much better place in a more convenient location, 48ville DonMuang. I strongly advise against staying here.
After a long flight, we had an early flight the next day, and the staff kindly offered us a ride to the airport so we could catch it. They were so helpful. We were really lucky to be there, and it was an unforgettable experience. Khob khun na kha :)
This hotel is a fraud. It said no credit card was needed and that there was a check-in counter, but it charged double and never contacted me about my booking. They changed the price and policy, then said the booking was non-refundable.
