The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the busy road beside the hostel. You can’t move the road, but thicker curtains might help cut the noise. Apart from that, I had a lovely stay and would recommend it if you want somewhere to sit with your laptop. The price is good, and it’s near the bkk airport. I stayed in a dorm and liked the design and comfort. At 6’7, I fit the bed just right. The room was a little on the small side, but not too small, and there was privacy and space to move around. The AC worked well. Bathrooms were well done, with nicely sized showers, toilets, and a changing area. The lobby is a coffee shop that closes at 7pm, but they let you sit and work or relax. I saw one guy set up comfortably to work from overseas. Reception also closes at 7pm. Send them a WhatsApp if you need to reach them, since they weren’t very responsive on their Line or regular number.

I’ve been here for two weeks on my own, and as a woman I’ve felt very comfortable. The interior is lovely and peaceful, and there are two cute cats. Downstairs, the cafe serves good food and drinks and has a clean, cozy balcony. The staff are nice and accommodating too. I’d recommend it to anyone after a relaxed Bangkok stay at a good price 😊

The lighting and decor looked decent at night, but I can’t recommend the place if you care about hygiene or basic functionality. I spent a week in a private room, and from the first day there were problems: the toilet seat was broken, the room was very dusty, especially the rug, and soap scum on the bathroom walls made it clear they hadn’t been scrubbed for a long time. One day there was no running water at all. Toilet paper, clean towels, and drinking water were never replenished during my stay. I’m not even sure the sheets had been washed before I arrived. I understand it’s a small team, but they need a clear SOP. A private room still needs a proper deep clean, and this was far below standard.

The friendly staff and the pleasant common area on the ground floor were probably the only two real positives. This hostel spoiled my last day in Bangkok and the night before my flight. If comfort matters to you, avoid it, especially the private rooms. The room was cramped and nothing like the booking photos. It felt like a storage closet off the staircase, separated by a glass wall and interior curtains. There was no soundproofing at all. Footsteps, laughing, conversations, and doors slamming woke us several times a night, and it was unsettling to be in a stuffy, unfamiliar place. I even thought about leaving for another hotel in the middle of the night. The bathroom window could open a little, which was the only relief, since the only window was there and the AC barely worked. It was set to 16 degrees all night, but gave us only a slight breeze. The bed was uncomfortable too. Its spring mattress squeaked whenever we moved, and the springs dug in. The previous guests’ rubbish was still in the room at check-in. There were small red ants in the bathroom. Water pressure was nearly nonexistent, the sink drain clogged, and there was no hot and cold water switch. Sometimes the water supply ran out, and staff didn’t warn us. The cats smelled very strongly. I have two cats myself and they’re cute, but I can’t imagine how someone with allergies would manage. The location is out of the way. There are only a couple of cafes nearby, and it’s a 10-minute walk along the highway on dug-up sidewalks to reach a 7/11 or Lotus's. There’s a lot of traffic noise, though the street itself feels deserted, with buildings and no real infrastructure. The only upside is that the station is a 10-minute walk away and the airport is half an hour away. We booked because of the good reviews and the airport proximity, but couldn’t get a decent night’s sleep or calmly finish our pre-flight errands. It’s not cheap enough to excuse these problems. I’m sure you can find a much better option for the same price. Avoid it, especially before a long flight.
