The place was a terrible experience and not pet-friendly at all. We booked only because it was listed as pet-friendly, and even paid an extra fee for our dog when we arrived. But when we left her alone in the room for a short walk, the host messaged us every five minutes to complain about barking. Of course she barked in a new place with unfamiliar smells and needed a little time to settle. That's why pet-friendly places need to be understanding and patient. The host then said we weren't allowed to leave the dog alone in the room at all, which makes calling the place pet-friendly seem false. She was unpleasant, kept texting, and acted irritated. The place was messy and cluttered, and she was lying on the couch by the entrance looking annoyed. If you're traveling with a pet, don't book here. It's not pet-friendly in any way. The host should remove the pet-friendly option or stop charging extra for pets, because this felt like a complete scam.

Getting around was easy thanks to the nearby public transport, and the spot is hard to beat. Big-C is just 400m away, with the Hawaiian Khwang night narket about 600m away too. I stayed at this affordable hostel and was impressed that the experience was much better than I expected for the price. It's a good choice for solo travelers or anyone trying to keep costs down without giving up comfort or convenience. Great value in a really handy location.

There's a good range of local restaurants in the neighborhood, with lots of tasty options. The location works well too, about 10 minutes from the metro, and from there you can get anywhere.

The manager couple were so welcoming and available, and there are two adorable cats too. I loved the calm, respectful guests and the quiet, charming street. It's close to the metro, restaurants open h24, street food, local atmosphere, a large shopping center, and the NightMarket. Everything was clean and comfortable, from the bed to the bathroom, and towels were provided. Breakfast was included, the kitchen was available, and the place was well equipped with outlets, a hair dryer, air conditioning, a fan, and dorm curtains for privacy. There's also an outdoor terrace. It was very affordable, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Bangkok.

The stay itself was decent, but the staff situation was frustrating. I was there for 7 nights, and on 4 mornings a helper woke me up freaking out because he had lost 1000 baht. He kept jumping up and down by the bunk bed, saying, "omg omg omg," and cursing. You'd think he'd lost 100000 baht. I'm sorry he lost money, but don't wake people up and start asking me, "was there anyone else in the room last night?" He also showed another guest the dorm at 09:00AM, which is fine, but then talked loudly inside the room about colonization of the phillippines while people were sleeping. Have some respect and take that conversation outside. I told him I was extending my stay, but he didn't seem to pass it on. At 01:00PM the owner asked if I was checking out that day, so I looked like an idiot for not telling the owner directly. I'm not even sure if the guy was actual staff, but he was there about as long as I was and showed guests their beds. Either way, the owner needs to make sure whoever is working there keeps the noise down. The staff were the loudest, and they sleep in the same room as guests. I skipped breakfast because I heard it was really bad. Also, beware of a guest who says he's stayed multiple times. He has, and he snores loudly. Bring ear plugs.
