Klean Residence Hotel

A good, reliable option for a Bangkok trip, with fairly clean rooms at an affordable price. Wongwian Yai BTS Station and well-known local eateries in Thonburi are nearby. The hotel is tucked into a narrow alley, so car access is limited.

I spent 13 nights here and enjoyed the stay. The neighborhood feels welcoming and local, with few tourists around. Although it’s a bit far from Siam, the BTS makes it easy to reach attractions and get around without staying in the busy center. The location is excellent: the station elevator is a short walk away, which I appreciated since I get hot easily. Food and essentials are close by. There’s a 7/11 in front, food carts nearby each morning and evening, plus good restaurants and a nice coffee shop within walking distance. The hotel has washing machines and a dryer, and the property is kept tidy by attentive housekeeping. There’s also a shared microwave downstairs for food from the in-room fridge, and the room has a hair dryer. Front desk staff were helpful when I had questions or requests. A few things could be better. The walls are thin, and you can hear neighboring guests. Doors slamming can be disruptive, so it would help if guests were reminded to close them quietly. The shower head holder often slips, the paper do-not-disturb sign falls off the handle, and the door lock sometimes takes several turns of the key to catch properly.

The room was very clean, and there’s a 711 convenience store opposite the hotel. It’s near the market and Wongwian Yai MRT, with lots of good food around.

Good value for the price, right beside a metro station. There’s also a 7/11 and a few small restaurants nearby.
