KROMO Bangkok, Curio Collection by Hilton

The rooftop pool was lovely, and the food was very good, especially the breakfast French toast. I just wish there had been a few more breakfast choices. We had a great stay at KROMO Bangkok, with a central location close to plenty on foot and very near the train line, which made getting around easy. Our room was a stylish, modern, comfortable corner junior suite on the 27th floor, with an incredible view. The hotel upgraded us, and I appreciated how they recognized Hilton Diamond status with the upgrade, breakfast recognition, and a fresh young coconut amenity. Staff across the hotel were consistently warm, friendly, and accommodating. We’d absolutely come back.

Our anniversary night on 2 March became stressful. After a massage, my spouse and I returned to KROMO Bangkok, Curio Collection by Hilton around 11pm and found only hot water running in Room 1601. I couldn’t shower with massage oil still on my face and body. We called reception, and a technician came briefly, said he’d look into it, then left without any update. We called twice from around midnight. Ann, the concierge phone operator, said she couldn’t confirm the status and would let us know, but no one called us back. We waited until 3am. What upset me most was feeling dismissed: Ann didn’t apologize or acknowledge how frustrating it was. At 3am, when we called again, we were told to test the water ourselves and shower if it worked. After three hours without an update, that response was deeply disappointing. The room also didn’t feel clean or maintained, even though this is a new hotel. The basins and floor had yellow stains, there were water marks on the small dining table, and the pillows had an unpleasant smell. Overall, the lack of communication and basic empathy, along with the cleanliness issues, fell far below what we expected from a Hilton property. I hope management takes this seriously and improves staff training and housekeeping. I stayed from 1-6 March, and 2 March was also our wedding anniversary.

The hotel’s breakfast schedule was a standout for me: continental buffet from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM and à la carte until 2:30 PM. That flexibility is brilliant if you’ve been out enjoying Bangkok’s nightlife or want to sleep in. I’ve never seen anything like it elsewhere. I was also able to leave my luggage with the concierge after checkout, use the pool before my evening flight, then shower and change. It made departure day stress-free. The rooms were spotless, modern, and beautifully designed, with a Nespresso machine and excellent local coffee capsules. Separating the toilet and bathroom was a smart, comfortable detail. The lobby, restaurant, and bar looked stunning while still feeling welcoming. Even the uniforms fit the mood, chic and elegant but relaxed with sneakers. From arrival, the team seemed to genuinely care. Everyone was very polite, spoke very good English, and was glad to help. Service felt warm and real, not forced. Kromo Hotel Bangkok has set a new standard for me. I’ve stayed at plenty of high-end hotels around the world, and this is hands down the best I’ve experienced. I’d return anytime without hesitation.

We came to celebrate our birthday and honeymoon, and the stay gave us beautiful memories. It was relaxing and comfortable, just right for a special occasion. K. Aun and the F&B team made our mornings with such lovely breakfasts, and everyone greeted us with warm smiles. A special thank you to housekeeping and the front office team, especially Khun Charles and Khun Num, for arranging such a beautiful room. What you did will stay among our most precious memories. We’re truly grateful and hope to visit again soon. 💕
