Kat at reception gave me some good tips and even printed a map to point out a few highlights. It’s a great spot for exploring the old city and city center, and good value for money. The room was comfortable, with a nice bed, fridge, TV, and clothes rack. The shower stayed in its own area and didn’t wet the toilet, unlike in some pricier rooms I’ve stayed in. There’s a free water dispenser, plus access to two rooftop pools at nearby hotels. Some reviews seem too critical about the room size and the liability warning. I would’ve liked a free safe or deposit box in the room, but I think most places waive liability. Even when they don’t, getting reimbursed would probably take a lot of effort. Your own locked luggage also helps keep valuables safe. I found it really comfortable.

There were two pools available, though each is at a different hotel. The hotel was generally nice, the room was tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Its location suits a stay in the old city center. The room was very small, with almost no space for luggage. There was also a reception notice saying the hotel isn’t liable for a potential robbery. We didn’t lose anything, but that warning did make us a bit worried.

They clean the room every day, which is why I can give it three stars. For the price, though, don't expect much. There’s only the bed to sit on and nowhere to put your clothes. The room was very sparsely furnished, and our fridge made so much noise that we had to unplug it. The Wi-Fi was awful, with codes they gave us to try at random. They ask for a 300 Baht cash deposit for the key, but take no responsibility for belongings in the room. A safe box is offered for 1,000 Bahts.

The photos gave a very different impression from what I found. My room was tiny, and the first one had a leaking sink. They moved me to another room, but it smelled like trash. On top of that, I was charged 300 baht more than the booking price because I wanted to check in a little early. They said I’d have to wait for cleaning and that the extra charge was for that service, but the room was ready in under two minutes after I paid. It didn’t feel transparent at all. A terrible experience.
