The drains in the shower and on the floor smell bad, and there’s a serious pest problem. Insects fly around the room and bugs are on the floor. The toilet area smells too. At checkout, they try to charge you for every little thing so they can keep part of your deposit. The manager is a woman who seems clueless about customer service and fixing problems. The maintenance man is no help and doesn’t know how to repair anything. Staff service is poor. They only care about money. It’s overpriced for the terrible service and the cheap furniture and appliances. Don’t stay at LUMPINI RESIDENCE, you’ll regret it.

The quiet, less crowded setting is a real plus. Lumpini Residence Sathorn is a low-rise apartment building set back from the main road, near Narathiwas Rajanagaindra Road and Makro wholesale supermarket. Its facilities are basic, with a pool, resident parking spaces, and a management office on the first floor. I’d give it three stars.

The location is quiet, attractive, and residential, and I’d stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok. The staff are great, really friendly, and everything is tidy and well looked after. The pool area is great too. The gym could use some improvement.

The apartment is very small and cramped. Living here feels like you’re only existing in Bangkok, not really living in it. The staff are extremely nice and helpful, but the building’s condition and limited resources mean I wouldn’t call this a serviced apartment. Everything costs extra, and the management leaves me with a stingy feeling.
