No hot water, and the washing machine was broken. I had cold showers every night and nowhere to wash my dirty clothes. That was enough to ruin the stay and the trip.

I came to downtown Bkk for eye surgery at TRSC International, and Nara Suite has been wonderfully quiet, which is so relaxing while I recover. There are good restaurants, a spa, salons, and grocery shops within walking distance. Thanks to the friendly, helpful staff.

Two days before checkout, they cut my electricity even though I'd already paid, and it took an hour to get it restored. Then they charged me for two days when I checked out at 13:30. I'll file multiple law suits. They did this to me even though I'm Thai.

The rest of the hotel was fine, which made this mistake and the lack of compensation a shame. We arrived late after a long flight and found that the key they'd given us opened a room that hadn't been cleaned. The bed had been slept in, the towels were used, and another guest's rubbish was there. I tried calling the out-of-hours number several times, with no answer. When I told the staff the next morning, they apologized for the mix-up but wouldn't compensate us, even though we asked for that night's stay to be refunded. A disappointing experience.

I stayed for three weeks, from 20 August to 10 September 2024, while visiting Bangkok for cosmetic surgery at nearby Milada Cosmetic Hospital. The room had what I needed to be comfortable during recovery, including a kitchenette with a fridge and freezer compartment, microwave, kettle, utensils, and sink. The front desk staff were friendly, and I found the stay very satisfactory overall. It was excellent value, and I'd stay again if I return to the area. Housekeeping costs 500 THB per clean, but I didn't use it. Guests can put their rubbish and recycling in the bins in the stairwell. My only minor gripe was the toilet flush plungers, which often jammed, probably from age-related corrosion. I had to lift the toilet cover and reset them each time. Good thing I'd worked at a hotel before. There's a ground-floor common area, though my condition meant I couldn't really use it, and several coin-operated laundromats nearby. The location is convenient for a Tops Daily, several 7-11s, plenty of restaurants, and Central Rama 3 shopping mall. I highly recommend Vrindavan for excellent Indian and Thai vegetarian food. For the mall, don't trust Google Maps. Take the shortcut via Soi Sathu Pradit 19 Yeak 10 and Soi Nakhon Thai 24, just past Vrindavan restaurant.
