Marigold Boutique Apartment

The room was average and the bed was clean, but the shower flooded and the rest of the room wasn’t fully clean. We also struggled to get taxis back from central Bangkok because drivers said the hotel was too far away. It’s advertised as central and cheap, but from what we could tell it’s more like apartments for Thai people living in the city. I wouldn’t recommend it to tourists.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and they top up the water and toiletries every day. There’s a gym, and the room prices are reasonable. The downside is there’s no 24-hour room service.

The service was really slow and poor. I booked through Agoda, but the staff didn’t know anything about my reservation.

The furniture seems worth the price, and the room is fully furnished. But I asked for a replacement shower curtain because of the mold, and I still haven’t received one after quite a while. Mold is serious, isn’t it? 🥲 I’m asking about the daily rates because I’ve seen good reviews for those. How is the Wi-Fi? For monthly stays, it’s barely usable, and the maintenance fee is 500 baht! 😂 As for the staff, this is just my personal opinion as someone who used to work in a 5-star hotel, but the service isn’t very good. The lobby should be nicer, and the staff seem a little dazed and not very attentive.
