The staff were so friendly and thoughtful, and the rooms were spotless. They even took time to suggest activities and places to visit, which added a lot to our trip. I’m surprised by the negative reviews because the stay was better than I expected. It’s a peaceful, quiet place to relax, and for what I paid, it felt well worth it. The pool looks lovely, but the water is stagnant and could be improved. The gym is small, with some equipment that doesn’t work. The location is somewhat secluded, with no nearby night markets or street food stalls. A 7-Eleven and Big C are about a 15-20 minute walk away, or you can order online. Getting around means using Grab or Bolt, which can be pricey, and not many drivers accepted our requests. Even with those downsides, I’d recommend it.

The gym was a letdown, with several broken or unusable machines, so it was barely functional. That was only one problem during what was easily my worst stay in Bangkok across 15 days of travel. My room at Murraya Residence was beside a garage, and vehicles and motorcycles started up at all hours, day and night. It was impossible to rest. The room smelled strongly of damp and mold, there was a cockroach, and the bed had bedbugs. The condition of the room and the equipment made the lack of upkeep and hygiene hard to ignore. I’ve stayed in different places around Bangkok and never had anything this bad. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. If you want somewhere clean, quiet, and maintained, avoid Murraya Residence.

I stayed four nights and found it okay. The service was good, the room was clean, and there’s a gym, pool, and Wi-Fi. The TV had no English channels and the menu was limited. The area is peaceful and the place was good value.

The price is good, and the room was okay, just small and nothing fancy. It’s not very close to things, so you’d probably need to rent a car.
