At 7,500 baht a month, I loved being able to stay here and feel more like a local in BKK. Khlong Toei and Lumpini MRT are about a 10-15 minute walk away. The rooms were clean, safe, free of pests, and air conditioned, with comfortable mattresses. The staff were so friendly and eager to help. I also loved the Thai home cooking restaurant downstairs. Around 5pm, skewers start grilling over charcoal outside each night, beside the motorbike driver stand. I wouldn’t choose anywhere else in Bangkok.

It’s an older hotel, but my bed was clean and comfortable, and my room was cleaned every day. There were towels, soap, a fridge, air conditioning, hot water, and an elevator. There’s a 7-Eleven nearby. Getting around on foot from this location is a bit awkward, though arriving by bike or taxi is easy. There’s no Wi-Fi, and you have to leave a deposit. Agoda lets you pay online when booking.

I lived at Theblooms apartment soi sibamphen sathon soi 1 for six months, then couldn’t take it anymore. The service was very bad, and the lady at the counter was always angry and spoke angrily whenever we tried to talk to her. The old air conditioner was so noisy when switched on that we couldn’t sleep. For 20 days in one month there was no water in our room. We kept reporting it, but they wouldn’t accept what we told them. We also talked about getting our deposit back, but it was never returned.

The massage was excellent, really professional, and worth coming back for regularly.
