PIER 808 Hostel

I’d never stayed in a hostel before, but I always felt comfortable here. The entrance is kept locked, and you get a key to let yourself in. If you ring the doorbell, staff answer quickly. I’m living in a nearby country now, and I’ll definitely book here again on future trips to Bangkok. I spent five nights here over New Year’s. The staff were super friendly and spoke great English. The lobby has a cozy spot to hang out, with water and food and drinks for sale. The rooftop has a pretty, peaceful view if you want to head up. The rooms and bathrooms stayed tidy, and the staff did a great job cleaning. My locker was spacious enough for all my bags.

We slept so well here. The bed was amazing, the shower was great, and the room was spotless and really comfortable. The hotel sits in a quiet spot in the middle of Chinatown, just steps from a pier for boats to other parts of Bangkok. The views were incredible, and the staff were very attentive. We’d come back without a doubt.

The host was such a sweetheart, and she really knows her stuff. She was accommodating throughout my stay. The place is clean, the beds are comfy, and there’s air conditioning. It’s around a 3-minute walk to the pier for the water taxi and maybe 10 minutes on foot to Chinatown. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. 10/10, I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Bangkok.

A newer place in Chinatown, very clean and quiet, with a comfortable bed. The receptionist was kind and pleasant. It’s close to the MRT, river taxi, and bus lines.
