My favorite part was the peaceful neighborhood, where people jog and bike, and you can even see monks collecting alms in the morning. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Udomsuk BTS and 10 minutes to True Digital Park, with lots of food, coffee, and wine places. I’d recommend Wine Connection, Bowliyo, and Roma Massage nearby. Ask for Pin! Getting to Siam or Central World can take a while depending on traffic and time of day, since it isn’t very central. I stayed about 12 days while settling into Bangkok after moving here, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The price was affordable, around $30 USD a night, and the place was clean and close to Udomsuk BTS. The staff were wonderful from the start. They arranged early check-in, helped unload all 7 of my bags, and gave me the first-floor room by reception that I’d requested. It was spotless, with chilled drinks in the fridge and a little screened patio where I could relax privately and still watch people go by. It felt more like staying with a kind local family than at a hotel. Clean, quiet, affordable, and welcoming. I’d absolutely come back.
