Rio Residence sits in an old building, and the rooms look a little dated, but they’re clean and practical. It’s a convenient spot, with food stalls, eateries, coffee shops, and convenience stores close by. The staff were responsive and friendly, which helped make the stay pleasant. It’s comfortable enough for a short visit, though the facilities may feel limited if you’re staying longer. Better Wi-Fi would also make the value stronger.

The staff were kind and ready to help whenever needed, and their service deserves five stars. The facilities, though, were three stars or less. The air conditioner wasn’t cold on our first night, the water heater didn’t work, and Wi-Fi was unusable in the last room along the corridor. The hair dryer was shared, and there wasn’t an electric kettle in each room.

This old hotel was rough. The shower ran very slowly, the air conditioner made noise, and the lights and furniture felt ancient. You have to leave a deposit. The bed was noisy too.

I stayed here for a month, and the monthly price was good. The hotel itself is good, though the water wasn’t very hot, the air conditioner didn’t work perfectly, and Wi-Fi in the last room was awful. I didn’t need the Wi-Fi.

There’s a night market nearby, in a good local Thai area. The staff were really great, and the place was convenient to stay at. I’ll come back on my next visit.
