The staff were nice, but I couldn’t sleep there. The room wasn’t clean and really needed a deep clean. They accepted my refund, which is why I’ve given two stars. I still don’t understand how the average rating is so high.

Getting to the subway takes a good 15-minute walk, and check-in wasn’t allowed until 2 pm even though my room was empty. The bed was horrible and very uncomfortable. The room was a decent size and mostly clean, the AC worked well, and the Wi-Fi was okay. There was a fridge but no TV, and the kettle that was supposed to be in the room wasn’t there. There’s no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage upstairs. The bathroom sink grout was very moldy, there was dirt on the room counter, and birds sat at my windows, which were covered in bird droppings. Not recommended.

The room smelled really bad, the AC was noisy, and the towels were dirty. There were insects, and the shower head was broken. The receptionist was Burmese and couldn’t communicate in Thai or English. They didn’t return my ID card, so I had to ask for it. Right after I connected to the Wi-Fi, I got an email warning about an attempted login. Do not stay here.

The place is cheap for a reason. A lot of things in the room were broken, and it wasn’t cleaned properly. Towels and bed sheets were drying in front of the hotel and around the lobby. The Myanmar staff weren’t keeping the place clean.
