Sook Station

The prison setup makes this place a fun stop for photos, and it’s worth considering for a couple of nights. The rooms are designed as cells, with bunk beds and metal bars, and they even provide a striped prison outfit for pictures. I stayed on the first floor and got some lovely shots. Inside, the lobby has a contemporary artistic look, and staff greet you with friendly smiles. The interior details are thoughtfully done. There’s also an open-air rooftop with a hot tub, barbecue set, and seating areas, which could work well for private group parties. It’s a wonderful, picturesque place, though a little far from the centre.

I came for the jail-themed hotel and booked a bunk bed. It was alright, but the room felt small for what I paid, with hardly enough space to open my luggage. The train is around a six-minute walk away. Food and massage places were a bit hard to find nearby. For massages and street food, you need to walk to the other end of the street.

Such a unique experience, and a really cool place to stay. Our family room was clean and comfortable, with its own bathroom. The staff were helpful and nice.

You can find a hostel, cafe, co-working areas, meeting space, rooftop parties, and laundry here. I had a chance to train and have lunch at the place. The food and drinks were okay, and free Wi-Fi was available.
