The St. Regis Bangkok

Breakfast alone was a highlight, with a huge spread of Thai dishes and Western favorites, all prepared really well. It was easy to keep going back for more. The room was quiet, roomy, and very comfortable, and nightly turndown left it feeling fresh. The staff were polished and friendly throughout. Butler service and housekeeping were excellent, and the valet team got taxis and Grab rides sorted right away. A few people had some difficulty with English, which is understandable but noticeable for this brand. It’s a central location, though we still needed a car for most outings. That also meant the hotel stayed peaceful, which we liked, and a few thoughtful perks made the stay even better. The price felt very fair for the St. Regis level of service and execution. A calm, comfortable luxury base for exploring Bangkok. A+ from start to finish.

The hospitality is what made this five night stay stand out. Every person we dealt with went out of their way to make things right, and the staff were next level, especially by the standards I picked up working at a five star hotel years ago. It felt like a masterclass in running a hotel. The bed and linens were fantastic, and the room was lovely. I also enjoyed the pool, with its nice balance of sun and shade. Breakfast was a treat, as was the Elite drink on the main level each evening while I was heading out to dinner. Really wonderful stay.

Fern and Game made the meal feel special with gracious, attentive service. They kept drinks topped up, offered confident menu and wine suggestions, and were warm and professional throughout. Their care lifted the whole experience. The setting was calm and refined, just right for a leisurely Sunday afternoon. The brunch felt worth the price, and I’d happily come back for it. Food was excellent across the board. The prawns, oysters, and caviar were especially fresh, the hot dishes felt balanced and carefully made, and the desserts looked elegant while tasting just as good. I recently had Sunday Brunch at The St. Regis Bangkok, and it surpassed my expectations. Anyone after an upscale brunch in Bangkok should find it a rewarding choice.

Being connected straight to the sky train made getting around so easy, and the location is great. The room was roomy, the bed wonderfully comfortable, and the linens felt lovely. Breakfast was excellent, with staff so attentive they seemed to read your mind. There isn’t a lounge at this property, though platinum members can get a complimentary drink and snacks in the first-floor lounge. I didn’t think much of them, so you can skip it. The service was personal and exceptional. Thanks to Annie at reception and our butlers Ploid and Four for making the stay memorable.
