For a budget stay, it does the job. The room was decent, plain rather than old or fancy, and clean when we arrived. After that, though, there was no cleaning before we left. Staff weren't friendly, but they weren't rude either; communication was limited, including in English. It's about a 10-minute walk to the main street and BTS, and around 5 minutes to a 7-Eleven and local food places. The guests seemed to be an even mix of foreigners and Thai people, mostly couples. The location is roughly midway between the airport and Bangkok's main sights, so those sights are still a long way off: around 35 minutes outside rush hour, and over an hour to places like Kaosan Rd.

We got to the hotel at 4 a.m. after landing in Bangkok around 3 a.m. We had booked one night through booking.com and, before traveling, asked whether early check-in would be possible. They said yes and told us they'd arrange it. When we arrived, they said check-in wasn't until 2 p.m. That left us looking for somewhere else to go with all our luggage at 4 in the morning. It was a really bad experience. I wouldn't trust this hotel, and wouldn't recommend choosing it.

The rooms and bathroom were dusty and very dirty, and the place is tucked away in a location I didn't find great. When we asked for an extra comforter and pillow, they said it would cost 500 THB. I've traveled a lot and never had to pay extra just to get a pillow or blanket. After we spoke with the manager, they agreed to send a comforter, but what arrived was a baby blanket without a cover. I also felt unsafe leaving the room. The receptionist wasn't very personable either. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

I had a good time here. The location is near the BTS, though it's far from the center. I spent almost all my time in the room, and it was really quiet.
