The Vegetarian Pranang Curry was beautiful, with tofu so soft it melted on my tongue. The food was 10/10, and I’d say go all out because it’s worth it. Everything is fresh and handmade, and you can taste the care in it. Try the mocktails too, especially De Chiang Mai and Bora Bora. And don’t miss dessert, the lemon violin and brownie are worth trying. The staff and owner were so attentive and made us feel at home. This probably sounds exaggerated, but we really did have such a lovely time. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

The traffic from the main road can be heard from the hostel, which made it a little hard to sleep, but they provide earplugs. I enjoyed staying at Suraya Bangkok Hostel & Kitchen. My room was small, though clean and comfortable, and Khao San Road, one of Bangkok’s liveliest areas, is a short walk away. I tried the Thai food and really liked it. Service was great too. I checked in around midnight, and they made sure things went smoothly by leaving my key at reception. When I checked out early in the morning, no one was at the counter, so I couldn’t thank the staff in person for their service. Sorry about that!

We had dinner here and loved the place. We asked for low spice, and both the galangal soup and Thai green curry with roti were delicately seasoned, with great ingredients, in a mellow setting. It wasn’t the cheapest Thai food, but you get what you pay for. This was the best Thai food we ate in Bangkok. Hope to come back and try some other dishes.

I had a wonderful meal at Suraya Restaurant in Bangkok yesterday. The place was clean, with a beautifully designed interior and a warm, pleasant feel. There was a great range of vegetarian, vegan and non-veg dishes, all cooked perfectly. The service was excellent, and Bon deserves a special thanks for treating us with so much care and respect. Highly recommended! 🌟

We didn’t stay here, I’m reviewing the food, which was outstanding. It was all vegan, using Thai ingredients and flavors with a little flair and a twist. The light, small room has about 16 seats and hand-painted local birds on the walls. Three waiters were very attentive, and the food came through a hatch in one wall. So good, it was the best we ate in Bangkok.
