The small apartment in Complex E is cute and works well for a solo traveler, and The Excell Groove is good value. It was very clean except for a plate and a bowl. Having a washing machine was great, and the sofa, though small, was really comfortable. The area is quiet, with very few tourists around. The security guard was friendly, and the pool was great, though it could be cleaned more often. I took off a star because most of the gym equipment was broken and unusable.

The Excel Groove in April 2024 was dreadful. The apartment was cramped and tight, with barely enough room for two people. In the bedroom, the double bed and sliding wardrobe left only about a foot of space to get in and out. From block E, the view looked out onto a derelict building. It wasn't as clean as a rental should be. It looked clean on the surface, but there was dust and dirt underneath, including the shower grout and the washing machine on the tiny balcony, which needed a wash. The gym had around four machines, and only one worked. The pool looked okay, but we didn't use it. The partner host, whose name I didn't get, wasn't warm or welcoming. She pulled faces and sighed when I said I couldn't use the lift and wanted to take the stairs. When we said goodbye as she left, she just shut the door and went. I slipped on the stairs, which were unfinished and looked a bit like a building site. It's just off a main road with little on it except a seven eleven store, and the area felt like the middle of nowhere with nothing to do, definitely not holiday vibes. The security guard was helpful when we arrived after midnight and couldn't find the main door because there was no sign. We stayed one night. The next morning I found somewhere else, the Lux Hotel, which was much better and better situated. I asked the host and booking agent whether I could get a reasonable refund, and I'm still waiting for their answer. I wouldn't waste time here. It felt more like a holding station, like the ones I've seen on YouTube, than a holiday destination. Hope this helps.

A clean, modern condominium with attractive interiors and a nicely designed lobby. The condos are modern and well built, and the electronic security system is good. There's a large seven eleven right next to the building. Seems like a great place for anyone wanting to live in this area.

Very cheap and peaceful, with nobody bothering you. Feels like a great place for your first day when you're just moving to Thailand.
