The Express Bangkok Hostel

We booked three private rooms for five days, and my family and I were satisfied with our stay. Check-in was easy, and the rooms were bright and clean, with windows and balconies. The staff were friendly, helpful, and informative. It's in a handy spot, two minutes on foot from Surassak BTS and about a 15-minute walk, or 1 kilometer, from Saphan Taksin, where you can take a boat to Wat Arun, Icon Siam, and Asiatique. Asiatique is also a 10-minute drive away. There's a Seven Eleven right next to the hostel and lots of food stalls nearby. For Muslim guests, halal food is about a two-minute walk down the alley, and a mosque is around five minutes away. They had cold and hot mineral water, cappuccino, latte, chocolate, milk tea, other free drinks, and cookies available all the time. There's coin laundry and a dryer. They also make it accessible for older guests, with a lift for wheelchairs and strollers and a toilet handle to help people stand. Hot and cold water were available, there was a refrigerator in the room, and the common room had a microwave and eating utensils. The only downsides for me were the very hard mattress and having a mirror only in the toilet.

The place was cozy, clean, and convenient. The facilities were good, with a free iron and a buffet of bread and drinks, including tea, coffee, and water.

The staff were so helpful and quick, and Maria spoke very good English. She helped me find Muslim food. The service felt professional, and everyone seemed delighted to look after you. I had a wonderful stay, and would give it 7 stars if I could. It's near the BTS train, with a 24-hour 7-Eleven next door and a free cafe bar open around the clock. The atmosphere was peaceful, with a pool table and Wi-Fi, and the toilets were extremely clean and tidy. It's a must-stay if you want to avoid too much crowding. The price is reasonable for the service.

For the price, it's worth it. The room was nice, breakfast was provided, and the staff were friendly. The location was good too.
