The FAH Silom Hotel

The room was tiny, but that didn’t bother me much since I was out exploring Bangkok and mainly used it to sleep. It was very clean, tucked off the mail road, and close to the night markets. My one gripe is the bathroom faucet: turn it all the way on and you can soak the bed, lol. You have to be careful. Good hotel in the Silom area.

It’s a quiet, pleasant place, just a five-minute walk from the BTS. My stay was satisfactory, though the shower room could use a rack, the space between the bed and shower is too narrow, and the chair is too heavy. I also wonder why they use manual keys instead of touch cards. Some guests don’t know which way to turn the key, and it gets noisy.

The rooms are tiny, but they’re clean and modern, with good air conditioning and door security, which I guess you need here. You’re close to the sky train, so getting here from the airport is easy, and right in the middle of Bangkok’s madness. I got a really good price. At full price, though, there are better options nearby.

The rooms are basic and small, but the place is really well kept and clean. It felt safe, and the staff were nice.
