The Hampton Suites Bangna

The laundry setup was especially handy, with two machines for washing and drying clothes for 100 baht, all done within a few hours. The receptionist was extremely helpful and professional, and we really appreciated her support. We stayed at De Botan Bangna for four nights after arriving in Bangkok. The rooftop pool is much smaller than it looks in the hotel's official photos, though it's not bad, so keep that in mind. For the price, the hotel was quite satisfactory and offered plenty of useful facilities. It's a practical, reasonably priced option to consider in Bangkok.

The room was good for the price, and the hotel is close to BITEC and the airport, which made my work trip easier. I was in town for a meeting at BITEC Convention Center. After flying in and partying with my team, I arrived very late, drunk and exhausted. Some things weren't ready, so I asked if I could sleep in the lobby while I waited. I was surprised when Nid[somting], a young staff member, came to tell me my room was ready not long after. She walked me there and was really attentive and concerned about me. That was surprising for a 3-star hotel.

The bed was the best part for me, so comfortable it felt like my soul was sinking into stillness. From my experience with hotel beds and pillows, the comfort was on par with five-star hotels. I booked through booking.com at a promotional rate and got a roomy, airy space with a king-size bed, a large TV with Netflix and YouTube, an air purifier, a hairdryer, and very quiet AC. You only need to bring toothbrushes, toothpaste, and clothes. There’s an infinity pool on the 8th floor with a view, plus a self-service machine with free coffee and cocoa and a cafe. The public areas are warmly and beautifully decorated, spacious but still cozy. It’s a low-rise hotel with Wi-Fi, polite staff, smiling housekeepers, security guards, a free parking lot, and EV charging. Security is there 24 hours. The rate was around 500 THB without breakfast, and breakfast can be added for about 175 THB. It’s near Mega bangna. I found the stay restorative and would highly recommend it. A perfect 10+1.

The room itself is fairly new and roomy, but the bedding made sleeping really unpleasant. The sheets and bedspread smelled awful and looked as if they hadn't been washed or changed. The towels were old and torn.
