The Journey Hotel

We only stayed one night, and it took some effort to get there, but we liked the hotel. The rooms were tidy and clean, with good lighting and nothing broken. The bathroom, showerhead included, was very clean, which is unusual. Check-in and check-out were instant. We were on the top floor and could hear some planes overhead, but it didn't bother us. Parking was a little small, though we had no trouble finding a spot. There's a Seven eleven and several cafes just around the corner.

Being close to the airport made getting to my flights so much easier and cut down the travel time a lot. Hotpot Man is right nearby too, which made me very happy. The staff were welcoming and really polite, and there was plenty of parking, so no driving around looking for a spot. I felt relaxed and comfortable throughout my stay. 💖🗯️✨

I spent four days here and found it easy to get around since taxis were always available. There’s a cafe in the hotel, with a 7-Eleven and places to eat nearby. The rooms are spacious and very clean, among the cleanest budget hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff were friendly and polite, and even left the 100 baht note I’d put on the bed instead of taking it as a tip while cleaning. My room had no smell, and the huge king bed was comfortable to sleep in. They changed the sheets every day. The bathroom and shower were both clean, the water pressure was strong, and soap and tissues were provided. For a stay in Laksi or near DMK, this is a real bargain. I’d happily pay twice as much.

The restaurant on the first floor serves delicious food at good prices, and there’s also reasonably priced laundry at the hotel. I stayed for two weeks, and the room was cleaned very well. A 7-Eleven and massage places at good prices are on the same street. The hotel itself was very good, and I recommend it. The nearest train station is quite a walk, so taking a taxi there is a better option and doesn’t cost much.
