Sunday Platinum Suites

The pool setting could be lovely, with trees giving you shady spots, but the area feels neglected. There are only three places to sit and two sun loungers, so a small group arriving can leave you on the hard ground. More loungers would make a big difference, along with shower shelves, brighter bathroom lights, and faucets that aren't loose or rusty. The prices are great, especially with pool access. We were greeted warmly and got to look at the rooms before deciding. I was there with a friend; we booked separate rooms, and he told housekeeping he didn't want his room cleaned. They seemed to assume mine didn't need cleaning either, but it wasn't a big deal since I could get fresh towels.

The photos and ads make this look like a wonderful place, but I wouldn't recommend staying more than one night. The pool water was very dirty, and the grounds weren't maintained. The rooftop garden they mention is gone, and the Wi-Fi was so poor I had to pay for my own connection. The buffet was oily, and the other dishes seemed undercooked and made me sick on the first day. I stuck to toast and fruit. There's also nothing close by.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel because it wasn't properly clean and needs improvement in many areas. In the morning, I found bird droppings all over the balcony and didn't dare go outside. There was a used towel in the closet, and the bathroom still had used shower gel in it. I wasn't sure the pillows or bed were clean either. I booked one night because I needed to catch a bus nearby. The photos made the place look new and spotless, but arriving at night was disappointing. I'd reserved a large bed and got a twin room. I work in hotels too, so I tried to be understanding, but the sink pipe was moldy and leaking. I was too tired to report it, and used bottled water to wash my face instead. If you want somewhere clean and affordable, I'd suggest The Extreme Suites in the same area. There's a 7-Eleven and Big C nearby, and the staff are very friendly.

I still haven't received my refund for 6 nights. This is terrible. I left the hotel after 2 houres in 1 day. This is Scam. The pool was very dirty, and given how the rooms were cleaned, I can't imagine what chemicals they use in it. In my room, they only lightly wiped some dust after I complained, and didn't check under the bed. It was disgusting underneath. They used some kind of red liquid to wash the floor without properly rinsing it, and my mother felt dizzy from the smell. The hygiene standards were extremely low. I even had to show the cleaning lady how to mop. She didn't speak English, which isn't necessarily a problem, but the cleaning itself was. I asked to leave and get a refund because of the hygiene problems, and at first the hotel agreed. Then they told me to contact Agoda, who said the hotel had to process the refund. The hotel then said I needed to speak to the manager. We went back and forth for two hours, which was exhausting and stressful. Eventually I packed up and left because the service was poor, communication in English was very limited, and they seemed to be avoiding a refund despite the room conditions. They didn't take responsibility or admit their mistakes, even though I was visibly upset. There were also many men staring at me in the elevator, and as a woman I didn't feel safe. I had stayed only the day before and wouldn't recommend this place even for one night. I'll keep trying to get the refund through Agoda. Overall rating: minus 100. I strongly don't recommend staying here. I still haven't received my refund for 6 nights 😢.
