The staff are lovely, and the place is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. It’s one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. The gym is huge, bigger than some regular gyms, and the property is clean and very well maintained. It also feels very secure, with big gates locked at night. It’s not in a really busy area, but there are plenty of places nearby to eat and pick up supplies.

I was there for six nights. The room was clean and the staff were nice, but it is far from town. At this price, though, that’s totally understandable. The gym really stood out. It’s probably the best hotel gym I’ve ever seen.

The staff are fussy, and the machines are shabby. Their weights also feel too light if you’re a heavy user. Since the gym is on the second floor and reception is right below it, hotel staff ask you to keep the noise down. If you want to use the gym without anyone bothering you, go after 10am, when nobody is there. For the quality and service, I don’t think the monthly membership fee is worth it.

The large fitness center and friendly staff were nice, and they even left water outside our door despite the Do Not Disturb sign. That was thoughtful. The birds were a major problem, though. There were wild birds making noise, plus someone across from the hotel had a huge parrot that was incredibly loud. Earplugs didn’t help, and I woke up every night because of the noise. It was very unpleasant.
